Alumni for Life

Camaraderie    Accountability   Connection

Alumni for Life offers a place for peer support from fellow OHH & OHJ graduates. Our monthly events provide camaraderie, accountability, and connection for Veterans who have completed our program(s) as they continue their lifelong journey of healing.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

"Learning to create a life rhythm that allows me to take care of my physical, emotional and spiritual needs has been challenging and rewarding. It allows me to live a daily without the constant chaos and rage. When life problems do occur, I have learned tools to cope. I think for me what I got from the program, was ME! I was able to reclaim the self that was buried beneath all the rage and pain. Inner peace is priceless and for the first time I can be at peace with myself."

  • How will I know I’m eligible for a program?
Our programs are available to all Veterans of all eras at no cost. We have a thorough screening process to ensure this is a right fit for everyone we support. If, for any reason, we’re unable to offer our services to you, we can refer you to appropriate service providers.
  • Do I have to go through one program before going through another?
No, we’ll work with you to plan the best course of treatment tailored to your needs.
  • How do you work to support families of Veterans?
We know that the trauma experienced by Veterans is felt by their families. Some of the ways we've supported families of Veterans enrolled in our program(s) is through family gym memberships, toys & games to play together, therapeutic weekends away, meals, and referrals to family and couples therapy.
  • Do you provide housing?
No, we are not a shelter or transitional housing program. However, we can provide referrals to housing programs that suit your needs.
